Seven boaters are back on land after being rescued from a grounded vessel off the Plaquemines Parish coast.
According to the United States Coast Guard, that rescue happened around 5:45 p.m. Saturday on North Breton Island.
Watchstanders sent a Coast Guard helicopter to rescue the stranded boaters. The aircrew hoisted the boaters onto their helicopter and flew them to New Orleans Lakefront Airport.
None of the boaters suffered injuries.
