NOPD wants help finding a man they say has been burglarizing vehicles.
"New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for auto burglary," cops said in a news release. "Wanted is Joshua Daigle (pictured), White male, DOB 05/10/1972."
Detectives believe Daigle may have broken into a number of vehicles. One of the most recent was in the CBD.
"According to investigators, around 2:25 a.m. on July 12, 2025 Joshua Daigle broke into a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Gravier Street and took property."
Police released the above photos showing the burglar with suitcases.
"Detectives believe Joshua Daigle may also be responsible for other auto burglaries which occurred in the Eighth District."
They ask people to reach out if they can help find Daigle.
"Anyone with information regarding the crimes or the location of Joshua Daigle is asked to call Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111."
