The NOPD has identified a pair of women that investigators say stole a cell phone and used it to take big bucks from the owner's account.
"On April 26, 2025 the suspects used a cellphone earlier stolen in the 1200 block of Ursulines street to steal more than $8000 from the victim's bank card account," according to a news release.
The suspects are wanted for identity theft and theft by fraud.
Wanted are:
Tee Onda Chambers (pictured left), Black female, DOB 02/22/2001
Keyantae Manning (pictured right), Black female, 08/07/2002
Identity theft is a felony, as is access device fraud over $5000.
"Anyone with information regarding the crimes or the locations of the suspects is asked to call First District detectives at 504-658-6010 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111."
