More than 1,300 Entergy customers were without power much of Sunday on the Westbank.
New Orleans City Councilman J.P. Morrell says another company's utility poles failed, impacting Entergy's gear.
"Cause of outage is two rotted AT&T poles that broke and affected equipment," Morrell said in a post to social media.
Power went out shortly after 3:00pm.
The Entergy outage map showed only six customers in Orleans Parish were without power after 9:00pm, however the map still showed the English Turn area was still not re-energized.
