A bicyclist died after being hit by a pickup truck Sunday afternoon in St. Tammany Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.
Troopers say 45-year-old Sean Brady of Covington was riding south on LA 1082 near Smith Road when he was struck from behind by a 2002 GMC Sierra, driven by 22-year-old Blake Griffith of Bogalusa, shortly after 3:30 p.m.
Brady was wearing a helmet, but received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Griffith was uninjured.
State police continue to investigate the crash and will forward their findings to the St. Tammany Parish District Attorney's office for review.
