There’s been a pretty marked drop in crawfish prices since Easter. With the warming weather, this may be the time to grab a sack and dig in while they’re cheap.
According to The Crawfish App, boiled crawfish are going for around $3 a pound at most local spots … with live crawfish going anywhere as low as $1.50 a pound to around $2.50 per pound.
Whether you’re firing up the boiling pot or grabbing some pre-boiled crawfish at your local grocery store or favorite seafood joint, the bargains are there to be had.
This is the heart of the season when many people choose to gather around a table with friends or family and dig into the tasty crustaceans. Saving a few bucks while doing so is always helpful.
