It would be the largest credit-union merger in state history. Louisiana Federal Credit Union and OnPath Federal Credit Union are planning to join forces and become one larger, studier entity. Together, the two credit unions have nearly 90,000 members and $1 billion in total assests.
It’s being called a landmark decision that threatens the entire, $200 billion app store industry. On Monday, a federal jury in San Francisco unanimously decided Google’s Android app store has been protected by anticompetitive barriers that have damaged smartphone users and software developers. The case was brought by Fortnite video-game maker Epic Games, which argued Google shielded its Play Store--and its 30-percent commissions--from competition.
