Louisiana State Police says a Cut Off man died in a motorcycle crash Thursday afternoon.
Troopers say the biker ran off the road on LA 308 around 4 p.m.
"This crash claimed the life of 68-year-old Raymond Guidry of Cut Off," said Trooper Tiah Larvadain. "For reasons still under investigation, Guidry failed to navigate a left curve, exited the roadway to the right, and was ejected from the motorcycle."
Larvadain said Guidry was wearing an approved helmet, but suffered serious injuries when his 2010 Harley Davidson crashed near Emile Drive.
The crash remains under investigation.
