Day Five of Jazz Fest is under way, and the threat of rainy weather isn't keeping anyone away from the Fairgrounds.
In fact, some of the people at the Fairgrounds on Friday say they don't mind the weather at all.
"(You) just deal with it because the music's worth it," said Kathy Anunson.
Anunson flew to New Orleans from Northern California to experience both weekends of Jazz Fest. She waited about an hour to get inside the fairgrounds to see Friday's lineup. She says she's prepared for any rain that may come the festival's way.

"I brought some flip-flips to get nice and muddy," Anunson said, adding that the hot, wet, and muggy conditions don't bother her. "I expect it when I come to New Orleans. Anything you get, it's okay."
The performers on Friday's bill are also taking precautions.
Bre, Drea, and Nesha are performing with the Rocks of Harmony under the Gospel Tent at Jazz Fest.
They say they're ready for anything Mother Nature throws their way. The ground at the Fairgrounds may be damp, but the spirit here at Jazz Fest certainly is now.
"We're very excited," Bre said. "The weather never stops anything in New Orleans. We're still going to celebrate and have a good time."

"We have our umbrellas just in case it does rain," Drea said. "I have my sunscreen. I'm ready for any kind of weather."
"We got our hats on," Nesha added. "We got our sunscreen. So we're ready to go, whatever happens."
