A 32-year-old former teacher at Destrehan High School is under arrest on suspicion of molesting a student.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's office says it received an anonymous tip on December 1 alleging Kyle Aucoin-Melohn was molesting male students. After conducting an investigation, deputies arrested Aucoin-Melohn this morning.
According to authorities, Aucoin-Melohn had a sexual relationship with a student from 2017 - 2020, beginning when the student was 16, and ending when he was 17 years old.
Aucoin-Melohn is charged with molestation of a juvenile and prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student.
The sheriff's office says Aucoin-Melohn's employment with Destrehan High ended earlier this month.
