Manning Family Children's 4th Annual Holiday Parade will take place on December 6th, 2025, starting at 11 am. The event has been rated by USA Today for the second year in a row as a top 10 holiday parade.
The parade begins at the corner of Esplanade and North Peters Street and will travel down North Peters to Decatur Street. The parade will pas by Jackson Square & Oscar Dunn Park before turning back onto North Peters. The parade will then turn up Canal Street, take a U-turn on Burgundy Street, and head back downtown to Tchoupitoulas Street, ending at St. Joseph Street.
Manning Family Children's laid out the parade details in a November 11th press release, stating:
"The parade will also feature high-flying helium balloons with a few new designs this year, along with dozens of New Orleans’ beloved marching groups and bands, and of course, Santa himself, along with his cast of holiday characters. Leading the parade will be a very special King and two Queens, who are Manning Family Children’s patients, 11-year-old Abron, 7-year-old Jules, and 9-year-old Abigail. The patients were named the 2025 parade King and Queens during a press conference held at the hospital on November 11."
