We are getting better clarity on the plan for the rescheduled parades in New Orleans.

The ELKS, Krewe of Orleanians Parade has been confirmed for this Sunday.

"We will parade on Sunday, 3/9/2025,"  organizers posted.

"The ELKS Krewe of Orleanians parade will roll at 9:00 a.m., with the Krewe of Crescent City parade to immediately follow," New Orleans Police announced Thursday afternoon.

According to NOPD, the parades will start on Napoleon Ave at Tchoupitoulas St., proceed to St. Charles Ave., then turn toward downtown.

The police department said the trucks will turn left at Louisiana Ave. and come to an end where Toledano St. meets S. Claiborne Ave.

The Barkus dog parade is set to walk through the French Quarter Sunday afternoon.

"We roll THIS Sunday, March 9th at 2pm," organizers posted.

The dogs and their chaperones gather at Armstrong Park before heading onto North Rampart to Dumaine, then winding through the Quarter.
