New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal double shooting in the 14,700 block of Chef Menteur Hwy.
Police say shortly before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to investigate a call of shots fired at the Chateau d'Orleans apartments.
"Upon arrival officers discovered two male victims at the location, both of which were found to have sustained gunshot wounds," said police in a statement. "Both victims were declared deceased on scene."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
