New Orleans Police are investigating a double fatal shooting in Algiers.
The NOPD says it happened at around 11:16 p.m. on Monday in the 5300 block of Tullis Drive.
“Upon arrival, officers located two adult males inside of a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were pronounced deceased on scene,” an NOPD report says.
Investigators are in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify who may be responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will determine the official cause of death and release the victims’ names upon completion of an autopsy and the notification of family.
