The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office says two people were shot Sunday evening on the Westbank.
"Two victims, one female and one male," a notification from JPSO said.
Police said the victims are fighting for their lives.
"Both victims listed in life threatening condition."
JPSO did not initially release further details.
