A New Orleans man is dead after a crash on the US 11 Bridge in St. Tammany Parish.
According to state troopers, Antoine Lewis was driving his pickup truck towards the Northshore when he crashed into the back of a box trailer that had been left abandoned in his lane. Troopers says Lewis was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
Troopers say the driver of the abandoned box trailer and the pickup truck pulling left the scene before the crash after someone had picked him up from the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
