A dump truck hit a power pole, knocking out power to around 2,000 Metairie residents on Wednesday morning.
According to Jefferson Parish Councilman Scott Walker, the truck hit a triple circuit pole near the corner of Hodgson Avenue and Pickleball Court. Walker says crews are on site preparing to replace the pole.
According to Entergy's outage map, the estimated restoration time is 2 p.m.
