On the heels of last night’s shooting where one person was shot and killed, the other critically injured, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s homicide investigators are working an early morning murder in Marrero.
The body of the victim was discovered around 5am near the intersection of Bonnie Ann Drive and Jeffery Street off Lapalco Boulevard.
Deputies located a man who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound inside a residence.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
