Gusty winds helped an overnight fire spread to four homes.
"The first NOFD companies responded to several 911 calls for 3434 Magnolia Street. The first fire companies arrived on the scene at 11:32 pm to find two, one story, wood frame occupied double family dwellings heavily involved in smoke and fire," Firefighter Michael Williams said in a news release.
He says the flames began to spread to two additional two-story houses.
"All four homes were occupied. A second alarm was called at 11:38 pm. Firefighters fought through blinding smoke and wind-blown flames as the walls collapsed. Fortunately, all residents were out before firefighters arrived on the scene."
Williams said that two homes were destroyed, a third sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage and the fourth sustained medium fire damage.
"The American Red Cross was notified to assist the residents."
No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation.
