A man was wounded Wednesday at the Fairgrounds Race Course in New Orleans after an argument led to a pitchfork attack.
"Victim and suspect in verbal argument when suspect chased victim on foot. Victim struck suspect with pitchfork," according to an initial New Orleans Police report.
Cops say the attacker then pulled out another weapon.
"Suspect produced knife and stabbed victim."
New Orleans EMS took the victim to the hospital.
Police took the alleged attacker to jail.
"Suspect Information: Pedro Leonardo Ochoa Gamboa, Hispanic male, DOB: 12-17-2001 (arrested)."
It happened just after noon.
Police did not say the victim's condition.
