A small fire Tuesday morning forced an evacuation of New Orleans City Hall.

According to reports, the fire broke out in a computer server room on the third floor. New Orleans fire fighters quickly brought the situation under control, and city employees were allowed back in before 10:30 a.m.

"We'll see what happens with our data," New Orleans City Council President Helena Moreno told WWL-TV. "Hopefully that's not been super-compromised."

Moreno said some people told her they were having trouble with their city email and some of the phones.
