A late evening fire on the roof of the Faubourg Brewery on Jourdan Road in New Orleans East brought out as many as 12 units from the New Orleans Fire Department.
The smoldering blaze was reported around 10:30pm.
A Faubourg shift manager had seen smoke in the brewery along the high ceiling and told firefighters workers were on the roof conducting repairs earlier in the day.
NOFD employed aerial units to put out spots of flame on the roof.
Fire sprinklers in the building were triggered by the heat from fire and went off, causing some flooding of the main floor inside the structure.
Fire personnel remained on scene using thermal imaging cameras to look for potential hot spots.
No word on what actually caused the spot fires.
There were no injuries and all employees evacuated without incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
