Heavy rains sweep through the area for Monday afternoon. A flash Flood Watch has been issued.
WWLTV’s Payton Malone says, “We'll be watching for rounds of heavy rain Monday afternoon. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued as some areas could see 2-3 inches in a short amount of time. With soil saturated it won't take much to get areas of flooding. Things wind down this evening with mostly dry conditions overnight.”
“Tuesday and Wednesday bring a slightly elevated chance for thunderstorms due to a surge of moisture from the Gulf.”
