New Orleans Police are involved in murder investigation after a man was shot and killed, another seriously injured, near the Tchoupitoulas Street off-ramp on US-90B west.
Police rolled up on the scene around some time before 3am.
The incident caused a backup on the span in the dead of night.
Police are tight lipped about the shooting admitting just two men were involved, no ages given.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, another was rushed to a hospital by EMS.
No other information about the shootings has been released.
