Christmas may be three weeks away, but it will feel more like summer this week as heat and humidity return to the New Orleans Metro Area.
Those warmer conditions will also bring fog to the area, which we saw late last night and early this morning. More fog is expected to develop tonight into tomorrow morning.
High temperatures today will reach the mid- to upper 70s. On Tuesay and Wednesday, the daily highs will approach the 80-degree mark. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we'll see high temperatures in the 70s. The weekend could also bring showers and a cooler conditions.
