How many LA residents remain without power?

Entergy continues to work on restoring power to thousands of customers still without power due to Hurricane Zeta.

As of Monday morning, Entergy says approximately 65,000 customers remain without power. That is down from a peak of 480,000 following Hurricane Zeta. In Jefferson Parish 40,000 Entergy customer, remain without power. Orleans Parish has 8,100; Plaquemines 3,600; Terrebone Parish 2,700; and in Lafourche 4,200 customers remain without lights.

According to Entergy’s damage assessment, 2,800 utility poles, 1,800 spans or wire and 575 transformers were damaged by the storm.

Entergy says either voting locations will have power fully restored will have power provided through a generator.

In the northshore parishes, Cleco estimates only 216 customers remain without power, out of 284,567 customers the utility services. St. Tammany Parish has fewer than 5,000 of their 93,000 customers remain without power.
