I-10 near the Bonnet Carre spillway will close in both directions so workers can make more repairs after yesterday's deadly helicopter crash. The closure will also impact I-55.
It is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and last about three hours.
East/west travelers should divert to Airline Hwy. Drivers headed toward New Orleans will be detoured at U.S. 51 in LaPlace. Westbound travelers will diverted at I-310 south.
Southbound I-55 will be detoured at U.S. 51.
