New Orleans Police say an infant was killed in an incident in the Seventh Ward.
It happened shortly before 8 p.m. near N. Broad and Columbus streets.
"Initial reports show an infant male victim," said police. "An adult female has been transported from the scene for evaluation."
Police did not reveal any information about how the child died.
