Another home insurance provider is leaving Louisiana. United Property and Casualty Insurance Company has about 36-thousand policyholders in the state. But the company says it will stop renewing policies next year. UPC says policyholders will receive notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before their coverage ends.
Earlier this year, the White House announced a new initiative to expand the use of 3D printing in American manufacturing. Lockheed Martin has made a move in that space – launching a collaboration with 3D printer Sintavia. As part of the deal, the companies will expand research into metal 3D printing instead of castings and forgings.
