A shooting in the Irish Channel has landed a woman inthe hospital.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, the shooting happened happened around 3 a.m. Sunday on Tchoupitoulas Street near Peniston Street. The woman suffered a body wound. Authorities did not disclose her condition.
