If you've been craving more Jazz Fest, your wish is about to come true.
Jazz Fest will expand from seven days to eight days starting in 2024. The festival's first weekend will now begin on Thursday, creating two equal four-day weekends for the festival. As a result, the 2024 Jazz Fest will open on Thursday April 25. The first weekend will close on April 28. The second weekend will open on Thursday, May 2 and continue through May 5.
"More Fest, more New Orleans, more joy!" festival officials wrote in a Facebook post announcing the change.
No word yet on who will be performing at the newly-expanded festival.
