UPDATE: The Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office says the victim has died
ORIGINAL STORY FOLLOWS: Gunfire wounded a woman this morning in Metairie.
JPSO confirms that around 8:30am, deputies responded to the 6200 block of Riverside Drive.
They found female victim there suffering from bullet wounds.
Authorities say a woman was injured in a shooting Wednesday morning at a condominium complex in Metairie.
That is just off the I-10 between the Veterans Blvd. and Power Blvd. exits.
It happened at the Victorian Condominiums.
Sergeant Brandon Veal says the woman was hospitalized, but did not share her condition.
There was no word on any suspects of motive.
