Cops say a woman was critically wounded this morning after an apparent incident involving another driver in Metairie.
It happened at the intersection of Clearview Parkway and Airline Drive.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office Sgt. Brandon Veal confirms deputies were called to reports of a shooting around 7:30am today.
Witnesses says JPSO, Louisiana State Police and emergency medical personnel were on the scene.
Veal says deputies detained one person for questioning.
He says there is an ongoing investigation.
