The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that happened overnight in Metairie.
“At around 10:40 pm, deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting near the intersection of N. Dillon and Versailles Streets. They located a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene,” said the sheriff’s office in a report.
There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
