Homicide detectives with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office are investigating a fatal shooting in the 5000 block of 4th Street in Marrero.
Police say shortly after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to investigate a shooting in that location.
"They found one adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound," said sheriff's office spokesman Capt. Jason Rivarde. "They found one adult male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound"

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
