Diamond Bickham says her boyfriend of five years punched her in the face.
As the saying goes: “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”
Bickham allegedly ran over her boyfriend with a car, then beat him with a tire iron.
The boyfriend is listed in stable condition at a hospital.
It all began around 11:30am with Bickham and her boyfriend arguing while riding in a car on Airline Drive.
The boyfriend is alleged to have hit Bickham in the face during the argument, then got out of the car.
The man crossed Airline near Hudson Street and was walking along the roadway when Bickham reportedly turned around and circled the area, looking for the boyfriend.
She found the man on Hudson Street and allegedly accelerated at him, hitting him with the car and running over him.
Bickham then got out of the car, got a tire iron from the trunk and beat her boyfriend.
Witnesses called police.
According to the Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate, the boyfriend admitted hitting Bickham.
Bickham meanwhile was booked on attempted second-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna.
