
Officials in north Louisiana responded to a disturbance and ended up arresting a man who was causing a ruckus just a few days before the arrival of what he believed to be his birthday.
The man claimed to be Jesus Christ.
Joshua Pete Stephens, 39, was taken into custody by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office after police were called out to an altercation in West Monroe, La.
When the OPSO confronted Stephens about claims that he was attempting to assault his neighbor, Stephens allegedly began to rant about angels and demons.
He also claimed he was the son of God, according to police.
Stephens was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace.
