A man is dead after what Lafourche Parish sheriff’s deputies are describing as a “possible shooting.”
According to Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre, detectives were called to Market Street in Raceland sometime before 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Webre said the victim is a man in his late 20s, but he did not provide the victim’s name.
Webre said more information may be forthcoming, but he did not say when.
