A Loranger teen is facing charges for allegedly bringing a gun to school.
Denim Lusk, 17, is facing one count each of possession of a firearm on school property and illegal disruption of the operation of a school.
A Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office spokesperson says deputies received a tip around 8:30 a.m. Thursday about a Loranger High School student having a gun in his car. The school's resource officer and other authorities put the school on lockdown and searched the car. According to the spokesperson, those authorities found a gun inside the car's trunk.
