Louisiana has set a grim record -- the Department of Health today reports 105 COVID-19 deaths, the second-highest single-day tally since the pandemic began. A total of 7,833 people have died from the disease.
Hospitalizations are up 36 at 2,069, a record the continues to climb.
The state today reports 3,372 new cases on 33,809 new tests. A total of 341,431 cases have been diagnosed since the pandemic began.
