A north Louisiana teacher is under arrest after allegedly grooming one of her 15-year-old students.
Tatum Hatch, 32 of West Monroe, allegedly sexually molested the boy in her car while her baby was in the backseat and told him she wanted to be “his first,” referencing taking his virginity, according to court documents obtained by KTVE, KARD and KNOE.
KNOE also reported that the boy’s father provided police with proof of the sexual relationship between his son and Hatch thanks to screengrabs of Instagram messages.
Hatch was placed on administrative leave from her position at West Monroe High School on December 15 and resigned on December 26.
She was placed under arrest on January 3, 2024, and has been charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
