New Orleans Police say carjackers beat a man and threw him out of his car Monday night on Magazine Street.
"Subject punched male victim in face and threw him out of vehicle," according to an initial police report.
The 53-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were in the car at the time.
It happened just after 9:30pm in the 2200 block of Magazine Street, near Jackson Avenue.
"Subjects fled in victims’ white 2014 Toyota Camry."
