The NOPD’s Violent Offender Warrant Squad and the U.S. Marshals arrested Irvin Fox, 21, in connection to an investigation of two armed robberies back in October.

“Through investigation, NOPD Sixth District detectives developed and positively identified Fox as the perpetrator in two armed robbery incidents – one on October 17, 2021 at the intersection of General Taylor and Carondelet streets and another on October 19, 2021 at the intersection of Loyola Avenue and Toledano Street. Arrest warrants were obtained for Fox in both incidents,” said an NOPD report.

On Nov. 4, VOWS and U.S. Marshals assisted NOPD detectives to locate and arrest Fox who was booked into the Orleans parish Justice Center on two counts of armed robbery with a firearm and one count of armed robbery.

Detectives also obtained a search warrant for Fox’s residence where they located four firearms – two of which were reported stolen from outside of Orleans Parish, and property reported stolen in additional crimes was found inside of the residence. Fox was additionally charged with two counts of auto burglary and one count of auto theft.
