Police are investigating a fatal crash and looking for a driver that fled the scene.
NOPD got the call Sunday to a collision with injuries shortly before 4:00pm.
"Police found the male driver of a vehicle on scene and suffering from injuries," Sgt. Barry Fletcher said in an email. "The other vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene."
He says they are working to determine a description for the vehicle and driver that fled.
It happened shortly before 7:30pm on Eastview Drive near Chef Highway.
"New Orleans EMS transported the injured driver to hospital. He succumbed to his injuries."
