Cops are asking for assistance finding a man who hauled a couple of trash bags full of stolen items out of a business in St. Bernard Parish.
"The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying an adult male who is wanted for burglarizing an Arabi business," according to a news release.
It happened Tuesday morning.
"Deputies with the Field Operations Bureau Patrol Division responded to a call for service in reference to a business burglary in the 7200 block of St. Claude Avenue in Arabi that occurred overnight while the business was closed."
The sheriff's office wants people to tell them if they know the man.
"Anyone knowing the identity and/or whereabouts of this suspect, or any other information relating to this incident is asked to call the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501, the Criminal Investigations Bureau’s tip hotline at (504) 271-TIPS or 8477, or Crimestoppers GNO at (504) 822-1111. Callers to the CIB tip hotline or Crimestoppers can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash award from Crimestoppers."
