A man is dead after a Thursday night shooting at an apartment in Metairie.
It happened between I-10 and West Napoleon Avenue on Pasadena Avenue.
"Just before 7:30 pm, deputies were dispatched a report of a disturbance in the 2400 block of Pasadena Avenue," JPSO Captain Jason Rivarde said. "Upon arrival, deputies located an unresponsive adult male inside of a residence."
He says the victim was suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
"He was pronounced dead on the scene," according to Rivarde. "There is no suspect or motive information available for release at this time."
