Investigators with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office are working to find who may be responsible for a fatal shooting in River Ridge.
The sheriff’s office says it happened about 6:00 p.m. 500 block of Richard Avenue.
When deputies arrived they found a man with gunshot wounds. EMS took him to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Investigators have not released any information on a possible suspect or motive. The investigation is ongoing.
