New Orleans Police say one man is dead after bullets were flying along the I-10 in New Orleans East.
The call initially came in as a shooting.
"The NOPD is investigating an Aggravated Battery by Shooting at the intersection of South I-10 Service Road at Crowder Boulevard," Officer Reese Harper said.
The victim died a short time later at the hospital.
Harper sent the update, "The shooting that occurred at South I-10 Service Road and Crowder Boulevard is now being investigated as a Homicide."
The initial call was made at 6:00pm.
