New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting at the corner of Willow Street and Jackson Avenue.
Police say around 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
"Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male subject lying on a sidewalk who had sustained at least one gunshot wound," said police in a statement.
New Orleans EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
