The NOPD is investigating a shooting that happened at about 8:13 p.m. on Monday.
Investigators say it happened at the intersection of Clematis and Jonquil Streets.
Initial reports show that a male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body. EMS took the gunshot victim to the hospital but their condition is unknown.
